BIGGEST LOSER II

Contest duration: 13 weeks (almost) beginning Tuesday, April 1 and ending Saturday, June 28th (because of reunion week when access to original weigh-in scale won’t be available.)

Entry Fee: $25.00

Grand Prize: $225 (approximately. Total will be the sum of all the entry fees plus $100)


Grand Prize Winner: Most total points accumulated through the duration of the contest


Point System

30 points for every pound lost
One point for every ten minutes of exercise
250 bonus points for the highest percentage of weight lost at end of contest
Gift Certificate for the best homemade exercise video (Don and Karen are the judges. The decision of the judges in final. Videos should be 3 to 5 minutes long)
10 points for winning or accomplishing the Weekly Challenge

Weekly Challenges
The weekly winner will receive a $10 gift certificate

Week 1: Most miles walked/run
Week 2: Most time spent exercising
Week 3: Least hours spent watching television/movies
Week 4: Most gallons of water consumed
Week 5: No chocolate (everyone who meets the goal wins)
Week 6: No eating after 7 p.m. (everyone who meets the goal wins)
Week 7: 75,000 steps (based on pedometer reading, everyone who meets the goal wins)
Week 8: Most servings of fruits and veggies (1/2 C or fist sized)
Week 9: Most miles walked/run
Week 10: Most time spent exercising
Week 11: Least hours spent watching television/movies
Week 12: Most gallons of water consumed
Week 13: No chocolate (everyone who meets the goal wins)

Disclaimer: Organizers not responsible for strained muscles, headaches from chocolate withdrawal, bunions, strained marriages or whistles from construction workers. Prizes not given where prohibited by local laws. Not valid in Canada. Judges reserve the right to award themselves all prizes.

Alright! Let's get it on!

So who's going to be keeping track of all of these points? Or do we have to keep track of our own. It probably wouldn't hurt for an official person to do it, as well as individuals...just to keep us honest! :)

I just used my eliptical...and what was a VERY VERY bad day has just gotten somewhat better.

Beware...I'm going to kick BUTT and take NAMES!
